Two of us, and you’ll know
which one has your file.

These are the people you deal with at Credible. Whoever picks up your first email stays on it — through the application, the conditions and settlement.

01 — Who does what

More about Credible

Who does what.

Which of us you deal with depends on what the lending is for. If it turns out to be both, we sort that out between ourselves rather than handing you around.

Syed Ahsan Ahmad

Financial Adviser · Chartered Accountant

A chartered accountant as well as a financial adviser, which is useful when a lending application turns on how a set of financials reads.

Self-employed income, company accounts and trust structures are where home loan applications tend to slow down, and being able to explain the numbers to a credit assessor rather than just attaching them usually shortens that. That combination counts for most on a file where the personal borrowing and the business accounts are tied together.

Pradyumna Mahajan

Business and Financial Consultant

Brings leadership experience in financial services, and works with business clients on funding structure and lender fit.

In practice that is the question of which lenders will look at your deal at all, whether the borrowing sits better against the asset or against the business, and what the facility costs once the term and the fees are counted rather than just the rate. That is the side of the work business, vehicle and equipment lending tends to turn on.

02 — Working with us

You still have one person to ring

One adviser owns your file, start to finish.

You’ll always know which of us has your file, and how to reach that person directly.

The adviser who takes your first call is the one who lodges the application, works through the lender’s conditions and sees it to settlement. There is no processing team to be handed to, and nobody new to explain your situation to.

If the numbers don’t work yet, you’ll hear that early. We would rather tell you what needs to change, and roughly how long that takes, than lodge an application we expect to be declined and cost you a credit enquiry for nothing.

Once it is in, chasing the missing statement or the supplier invoice in the wrong format is our job, not yours. We’d rather ring you with progress than wait for you to ask where things are up to.

When a file sits across both sides — the home loan that turns on how the business reads — the two of us work it out between ourselves. You still have one person to ring.

If you already know who you need. Say so in your email or when you ring, and we’ll put you straight through. Otherwise we’ll work it out from what you tell us and come back to you either way.

03 — Accountability

Advice is given through Credsol Financial Services Limited, trading as Credible Finance & Mortgages, which is registered on the New Zealand Financial Service Providers Register under FSP743011. The company is a member of Financial Services Complaints Limited (FSCL), an approved dispute resolution scheme you can use at no cost if we can’t sort a complaint out with you directly.

Before we give you regulated financial advice, you’ll get our disclosure information in writing: what we advise on, which lenders we work with, how we’re paid, any conflicts we have to manage, and how to complain. Ask for it at any point and we’ll send it through.

Raising something with us. Email ask@credsol.co.nz or ring 0800 273 376 and we’ll work through it with you first. If you’re still not satisfied, FSCL can take it from there.
